Utilizing Photography To Capture That Perfect Moment

By Andy Acmond

With the advent of videos and video cameras today, a lot of people think that photography is gone. Be that as it may, that is far from the truth. Today photography is still a very popular hobby. Of course there are still a lot of people which will choose videos, but there are a lot of benefits of photographs over videos.

First of all videos are great but sometimes when you want to look at past moments videos aren't reasonable. In short, just to see a specific moment you have to go through an entire video just to locate it. As compared to a photograph, wherein all you have to do is to locate that photo you want.

Another great benefit of photographs is you can put them in a photo album or on a wall. Right now that isn't feasible with videos. With a video you have to turn on a computer or a TV to watch or see past moments in your life. While for a photograph, it is very tangible for you to see whether in a photo album or on the wall.

For most corporate or commercial promotions, videos are great but photographs still provide a powerful medium. Photographs are working very well because they are like an art piece. If you utilize a photograph properly you can convey a very powerful message with it. You can convey all the important features of your promotion with a photograph.

Finally photographs are powerful because you can lay out a story of a day like a wedding powerfully. Sometimes watching videos can get boring without some action in it. With photographs you can add all the action you want into a photo album. And at the same time you can eliminate some photos which are boring or does not add to your story.

So those are some major areas in which photography dominates over video. Sure video is also a powerful medium and has its place. But unless you know how to video edit sometimes the memories can be boring. - 32363
